Chopped fiberglass felt is a non-alkali or medium alkali non-woven fiberglass material made from continuous strands of glass fiber cut into 50mm lengths, uniformly distributed in a non-directional manner and bonded to a powdered polyester or emulsion binder.
Properties and application:
Chopped fiberglass felt has the characteristics of good resin compatibility, simple structure, high wet strength, good light transmittance of laminated sheets and low cost. It is widely used for hand molding of all kinds of fiberglass products such as slabs, light boards, housings, bathtubs, cooling towers, etc. It is also suitable for continuous installation of fiberglass sheet tiles.
